What causes Gonorrhea?

Asymptomatic infection is common in males and females. Untreated infection may spread to the rest of the body (disseminated gonorrhea infection), especially the joints (septic arthritis). Untreated infection in women may cause pelvic inflammatory disease and possible infertility.

How it spreads?

There are two mode of infection –

Sexual transmission – N. gonorrhoeae may be transmitted through vaginal, oral, or anal sex with infected person.

Nonsexual transmission– It can also be transmitted to the newborn during passage through the birth canal if the mother has untreated gonorrhea.

  • I had gonorrhea for over one year. In the early stages, I had redness, itching and stabbing pain in my urethra, discharge from my penis with painful urination. After about 2 days, the irritation lead to frequent and urgent urination. I went to my doctor and was prescribed with antibiotics. The pain in urethra was relieved after 7 days with the drugs. However, several weeks later, the frequent urination was worse and the pain recurred. My doctor gave me a stronger antibiotics but no help. Then I took some home remedies to get some relief. I also tried herbal medicines. The one that helped me get rid of the infection was a herbal medicine called diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill. It was effective.

  • 5 days ago, i go to positive Homeopathy Hospital and consult the to the Doctor They give me pills to take but from last night i stop taking your medicine due to I’m not getting good reaction and reduce my symptoms.
